I am Jogita, the ceramic artist and sole creator behind Zuze Pet and Jogita Art Studio. I spend my daily life in the studio with my trusted ally, my dog Pepe, creating beautiful and functional ceramic dishes for your four-legged pets. On international platforms like Etsy, my studio is also widely known as Zuze Ceramics.

How did the name Zuze Pet come about?

30 years ago, our family had a wonderful dog girl named Zuze, who made my childhood special and rich in warm memories. In honor of Zuze, I decided to call my pet shop Zuze Pet. She would have loved to eat and drink water from such beautiful and mindful ceramic dishes.

Unlike large-scale manufacturers, there are no assembly lines here. Each dish is handmade; no two are exactly alike. But that’s exactly what I love—character in every line, glaze drop, and shape. I am personally involved in every step, from hand-kneading the clay to hand-stamping each pet's name letter by letter.

Why quality takes time

The 4-week lead time is a testament to this careful process. Quality takes time, and my "slow-made" philosophy ensures durability:

• Slow Drying: The clay must dry slowly and naturally on my shelves to prevent any cracks before firing.
• 3 Firing Cycles: Each piece undergoes three separate firings in the kiln to ensure maximum strength and a perfect finish.
• Safety First: I use only food-safe glazes and high-quality natural clay.
